BACKPACKS 4 KIDS IS BACK!!!

After a brief hiatus, Backpacks 4 Kids is back in the lineup as one of the ministry opportunities of Appalachian Mission Project. This mission is designed to provide backpacks filled with school supplies to the children of Appalachia. You will be able to sponsor a child and personally pack their backpack with school supplies, toothbrush and toothpaste, reading books, and a personal hand-made card!

Backpacks will be collected through the spring and summer and will be taken to the children in late July/early August.

Required
-Backpack
-Hand-made card (a personal card to the child you have sponsored - make sure you put your address on it, you never know if you'll get a pen pal!)
-Toothbrush and toothpaste
-Books - children's books of the appropriate reading level. At least one book is required, more is preferable!
-Notebooks
-Folders
-Crayons/colored pencils
-Paper
-Pens/pencils
-Pencil sharpener
-Block erasers
